New workout plan

Just got back into fitness after a layoff and I'm having trouble coming up with a plan. So far I've been doing this for 3 weeks. Heavy deadlifts on Saturday 5 sets of 5 reps. Monday chin ups and press-ups. Wednesday a kettlebell workout. Thursday chin ups and press ups again. I want to lose body fat too so just bought a speed rope to use on the off days but got shin splints After first time so I will be taking some time off that for a while. Any advice? I have a door chin up bar, a 16kg and 20kg kettlebell and a barbell with weights.

What are your fitness goals?0

Mainly to lose weight but I don't wanna get skinny. I'm 6'2 around 98kg, used to workout so not all fat. I don't care about getting "huge" really, just want to be leaner and strong but not fussed about 6pac. My plan was deadlift, press ups and chin ups for strength and muscle and speed rope and kettlebell for fat. I use the kettlebell in a hiit workout0

Your diet will determine how much weight you lose.0

Why not do a full-body routine?0

I don't know any full body routines tbh, obviously I can look them up but don't know of any good ones off hand. I'm keeping deadlifts as I love doing them but other than that I'm open. Id like to try to keep it based on body weight as I don't see the point in getting bigger if you can't do X amount of bodyweight exercises0

Check out Athlean Xero. Unlike some other bodyweight programs it isn't free, but it's by far the best one I've ever used.0

Your plan seems fine to me. Eventually it may become a little boring. I hope in your KB workout you squat and do some overhead pressing.0

I've thought about his stuff before, would like an example first, I don't usually like paying for plans0 -
Check out bodybuilding.com. Plenty of routines to choose from depending on your goals.0
