Gotta say this app is nice for getting me off the couch to walk. Anyone else?

    I haven't walked yet to find a pokemon, planning on tomorrow morning, but my daughter had us stop at the park on the way home from the gym because someone had set a lure.
    She caught a meowth, so Yeah!

    I downloaded it today. Went out with my son and on my own and ended up with over 15k steps

    yep, walked for about 20mins and run into other people doing it too! Good way to socialize and exercise!

    I walk 2 miles and didn't catch anything. As soon I get back and sit on the couch, they start to appear.

    My 9 year old asked to download it on my phone over the weekend. Today, I read an article about how the app is getting full access to your phone data. I deleted the app this morning.

    Well that's a bummer. I almost upgraded to a smart phone but won't while there are privacy/security concerns.

If Niantic chooses to do so, it has the ability to read your emails, send emails, and even view your search and navigation histories."
