I'm having trouble reaching my calorie goal without exceeding the fat and sugar goals I have. Anyone have a recipe for snacking food (like granola bars, trail mix, even desserts) they'd be willing to share?

Yes! I've been needing ideas as well... something filling that won't make me hungry again in an hour. My downfall is snacking so much that I always end up going over calorie count.

One tablespoon of reduced fat peanut butter with 5 salt free saltine crackers!
Peanut butter suppresses hunger longer too(:

I try to snack on things that take a long time to eat - like popcorn or unshelled peas (they take ages of you shell and eat as you go). Seeds are another slow one but won't satisfy a sweet tooth. I have bought snacks for toddlers before! There are some natural fruit ones (still have fruit sugar in them though) that are only 48kcal. The small pieces help me feel like I've eaten more than I have.

My granola recipe is mix an egg with a tbsp of honey and a sprinkle of cinnamon, then add plain seeds (pumpkin, sesame, sunflower, etc), oats (approx 1cup, I'm not good at measuring recipes!) and raisins/other dried fruit (make sure no added sugar and limit this - the more you add the higher the sugar content) I've also added protein powder to mine before. Then mix. It's not very sticky and won't hold together but the egg will bond it when baked. I then divide it into small cupcake cups and bake until set. It can be a bit dry - I'm debating whether soaking the oats might help. (Or not forgetting it in the oven!)
