New to MFP!

Hello, my name is Paul and I'm new to MFP. I'm 38 years old and live in SF Bay Area. I have been overweight since I got my driver's license 21 years ago. It's strange for me to think about how long I've been overweight. 20+ years just fly by. I feel that I know exactly how to lose weight, but I never do what is required. I am constantly preparing to start a diet and tomorrow is always my start date.
My highest weight has been about 250lbs. My current weight is 227.5 and my goal is 200. I started Weight Watchers a couple weeks ago, but then found MFP and I've found that I much prefer the MFP site. My plan is to track all of my food, gain friends who will keep me tracking and join groups that require a weigh in. I swim twice a week and do Fitlite circuit training twice a week. I recently bought a HR monitor so I can figure out exactly how many calories I'm burning during my workouts. I plan on eating all my calories burned and seeing how that works.
I been feeling very motivated the past couple of weeks and am excited to continue my weight loss adventure! Thank you for the site and all your support.

Hi Paul
I'm kinda new too, but I found that I really love this site!
I have two athlete soccer playing brothers and like you feel like I know what I have to do but never stick to it and always plan to start tomorrow or Monday.
This time it will work, for all of us!0 -
