Uum... I lost 2,4 kg in 4 days and my friend tell me it's risky and that I should slow down. I used to eat in average 4000 cal/day and now it's around 1000 and 1500 cal/day. I also started avoiding unhealthy food. I don't feel the difference in hunger. I'm still hungry before meals but that's all... I can feel a bit lighter tho ! So is it too much ? Can you advise me pleeaasse? ❤️

Yes, you can lose weight too quickly, but it's also common place to drop a lot of weight over the first week or two...you lose a lot of water weight and you're also carrying around less waste in your system...it should regulate in a couple of weeks and slow down...if it doesn't, re-evaluate your calorie targets.

You'll learn a lot about you and food on this journey. Welcome. Use the food log to accurately record everything you eat and all the calories you drink. Don't worry about a large weight loss in one 4-day interval. If you have less than 100 lb to lose, though, that much loss consistently is very unlikely even on the calorie intake you describe. Life works better if you get 1500 calories, minimum.

2000 would still be a 50% reduction in calories.

Yes you can loose too much, you can loose it too fast, and you also can become extremely ill.

Not only is it unhealthy, to aggressive but that weight loss will entail you loosing weight that is muscle, fat and water and trust me you will loose a great deal of muscle at this rate.

I am sad to say that you are doing it all wrong (I see many days under 1200 calories on your diary). It will eventually catch up to you. ;):(

You can safely lose 1kg per week. Anything more is dangerous.

Actually I need to reach 85kg and I'm 106 now... Thanks a lot... I'll try to eat at least 1300 cal/day from now on.

OP you missed the point here, this poster clearly said min of 1500. 1300 is still not going to be enough.

You are 18 years old and probably pretty stuck at your decision making processes, and most likely gonna do what ever it is you are gonna do, but asking the community if what you are doing is too much or dangerous is what we have answered. and your Friend that obviously cares about you is RIGHT.

Yes, but it's also possible and very probable you're eating more than you think and just experiencing the initial water weight drop. If you're not weighing all your food then I'm certain this is the case.

What I would suggest is a pound a week loss target on MFP, combined with a regimented strength training program and an investment in a food scale.
