I am going to do it in Colo in August, I am thinking of doing like circuit-training and running 5k alternately. Maybe something like cross-fit for the obstacles!

I did a lot of jogging/ running. Plyometrics, running hills and some boxing.

It's so much fun! I'm on my third 5K obstacle course this year. They are addicting.

The Warrior Dash is a great race and course. People of all ages and fitness levels compete and most finish. It was the first one I ever did and since then I have done our local Sheriff's Mud Run, I'm signed up for the Survivor and will be doing another local one for charity.

Have a great time. I did!

I loved the obstacles but a litte advice is to wear old shoes and duct tape them to your feet. In the mud pit you can lose them.

I am thinking about doing this also, they have one close by in Colorado in August, but I have never competed in any kind of race period, so I am a little nervous. I think I am going to try and talk someone into going with me to help ease the edge a little. It looks like it is a terrific time!

I think the Colorado one is booked up, but I am not sure! I have been registered since April and I know my heat filled up the day after I registered.

I did one in March. I had a blast!

I didn't do anything specific to train. I wasn't trying to have a fast time or anything, was just doing it with friends for fun.

I kept up with my normal exercise of alternating cardio and strength training. My biggest issue is cardio, so I admit I walked the course more than ran it. The only obstacle I found tough was the haystack climb.

Definitely wear old shoes. They will get filthy. And you can donate them after! Prepare to get dirty and have fun!
