I'm just wondering why there isn't a column for fiber so you can make sure you're getting enough. Anyone know if that might be in the works?

You can go to settings and replace something like carbs with fiber.

I check on fiber in the daily plan by looking at the printable view, but I don't want to track it as one of the 5 macros.

How many grams of fiber is everyone shooting for and why? I'm getting mixed reviews on what a good amount of fiber is. I don't have any digestive issues but my cholesterol does run a little high.

I try and aim for a minimum of 30g, i need at least this much everyday to keep things running smoothly. Plus i like the full feeling lots of fibre gives me.

Women need 25 grams of fiber per day, and men need 38 grams per day, according to the Institute of Medicine.
As a woman, my minimum daily goal is 21 grams. Maximum is 40 (higher than that gives me gas/bloating).

I try to incorporate a cup of Quinoa (5.2 gram fiber) 4 times a day. This helps me get my fiber count up to date.
I dunno if you've heard of Quinoa pizza bowls because its a delicious serving of quinoa. Take a big microwave safe bowl that can incorporate 1 cup of quinoa along with other layers of veggies, cheese and sauce.

I track fiber instead of sugar. Have IBS so need to keep my fiber intake up.
