Words of Motivation
Ever see The Simpsons episode when Homer starts working out with Rainer Wolfcastle, Springfield's answer to Arnold Schwarzenegger? Rainer tells him, "Come, do some bench presses and I will shout motivational slogans at you!"
I figure we can all use some motivational slogans shouted at us from time to time, so if you come across a motivational quote or saying, post it here. And if you need a shot of motivation, read what's here and (hopefully) get your spirits listed!
Here's one for an opener: One of the exercise vids I did had an instructor who said, "When I start to get tired while working out, you know what I always tell myself? 'This is what it feels like to get stronger!'"

Mine is " I am going to eat healthier and exercise more. If along the way I lose some weight, BONUS!!"
I had gotten so focuses on the scale, I was missing out on my droopy drawers, lower cholesterol and the fact I could get out of bed without groaning.

Here's one from one of my favorite authors, Dan Millman ("Way of the Peaceful Warrior"), dedicated to those who worry that they can only make small changes and not turn their lives upside down right away:

Maybe not really "motivation," but certainly words to remember while trying to live healthy. From Roddy McDowell as Chuin in the move "Remo Williams:"
"Do you know why they call it fast food? Because it speeds you on the way to the grave! He he!"0 -
