Mayo Substitute???

I made a lovely rotisserie jerk chicken on the BBQ yesterday. I want to make some chicken salad with the leftovers. I planned on using a few TBS of "LITE" mayo and some plain greek yogurt. Will this work?
Or does anyone have a tried a true mayo substitute for things like, chicken, tuna, egg salad.
Thanks in advance.

Just plain Greek yogurt
You can use it for sour cream too
You won't miss it either0 -
I've use vegetarian mayo substitute and didn't notice the difference. I found it at my local co-op store.0

If I'm short on calories for the day and don't want to use regular mayo, yeah, I'll do what you already mentioned and do a blend of mayo and greek yogurt, maybe in a 1:3 ratio. I've also used the olive oil mayo instead of regular; I can't tell a taste difference although my sister tells me it's blasphemous0

When I use mayo (rare) I use an olive oil mayo that is about 1/2 the calories and fat of regular mayo.

I tried the greek yogurt thing but its just not the same as mayo, too much tang for me(and I like green yogurt). maybe 1/2 and 1/2? But ive used this many times in chicken, egg, tuna salads and its awesome

I prefer fat free sour cream over yogurt but the mix u mentioned sounds good!0

Walden Farms salad dressings would be a good alternative.
I've also been known to use a little mayonnaise (Duke's is my favorite) along with a greater amount of substitute, which worked out pretty good.
Your plan sounds good.0 -
Your plan is what I do - Greek yoghurt with a small amount of mayo for flavour. If you don't like the yoghurty sourness, add a little lemon zest and then it will register as a lemon flavour rather than a yoghurt flavour.
You can then flavour it like normal mayo. I love honey and mustard.0 -
