Hi there. Started My Fitness Pal about a month ago and am loving keeping track of my daily nutritional intake realizing how many changes I have to make to lose weight and add to my fibre, lessen my sugar etc… Trying to follow a 1000 calorie intake but follow more of a 1200 I'm afraid. From my scale at home I have lost 13 lbs. to date and will do my best keeping an optimistic approach to my daily nutrients etc… You can call me Cheers & Chuckles.

Okay my last comment wasn't very helpful. But you must feel absolutely awful eating so little calories in a day. How active are you?

Use mfps suggested calorie intake for moderate weight loss. Or better yet pay a nutritionist a visit. Don't be in such a hurry.

Actually I have increased my daily nutritional intake to 1200 and that is what the Medical Weight Managment Program have asked us to do for a period of 3 to 6 months. For some reason in the last month I have managed well and drinking 2 litres of water has facilitated this. I am not hungry or thirsty. Will stick to this new way of eating for the duration. You can find MWMP on www.medicalweight.ca I believe. Thanks for your input!

I have increased the nutritional intake to 1200 calories for 3 to 6 months as directed by the Medical Weight Management Centre. It's difficult to follow but I am managing well having lost 12 lbs to date. Long way to go. Thanks. Requires a lot of drinking water...
