    I track and have individual goals for protein and carbs . My major focus is to get to a target a specific number or greater of grams of protein each day compared to carbs, and to target a specific amount or lower of carbs each day. Generally trying to get to more protein grams than carbs consistently. My primary goal is 30 g of protein at each meal, and another 30 g from snacks . It has really helped reshape my diet and nutrition and supported good weight loss when I stay focused. MFP makes it very easy for me to track and super easy to learn what foods have the best combinations of macro nutrients .

    Fairly new to this, only 5 weeks into diet and training - so really wanted advice if anything, I've seen massive changes to my body eating this way, and I've never ate so much protein all in one day!

    I'm only on week three of counting macros and already down several pounds... Tough! But so worth it...
