These are great nsvs!!! Once I ran my first 5k I was addicted!! Since then (7 years ago) i have ran numerous 5ks, 10ks, Mud runs, a warrior dash and my ultimate favorite the tough mudder!! I am not able to run much anymore due to my miniscus and acl being torn but I found other ways to move. I fell in love with push ups, squats and weight lifting!
I am not able to post a nsv for today yet since I just woke up but my latest nsv has been that I am on my last belt hole in all of my belts!!! Only 14 pounds away from my ultimate goal weight!!!
Keep it up everyone!!!5 -
All of your nsvs are amazing accomplishments. Good job everyone. Stick to it and never give up1

Thats amazing. I run a 5k like 3+ times a week and that takes me 40 minutes since i usually have to take a water break with it being so hot outside. My fastest was 32 minutes though when i ran my first 5k event as you probably read but i think the competitive side of me came out for that . Good job i hope to run like you soon5 -
My co-workers know that I've been trying to lose weight and asked me today how much weight I've lost. When I said 17 lbs, they were all so excited and impressed. I actually had one co-worker tell me I was motivating her so much, she was going to be getting into eating better and being fit and asked me to join her for weekly walks. It made me feel so proud!6

I just noticed this morning that one of my favorite dresses doesn't feel so tight in the chest or right under my boobs. It was getting so tight I couldn't wear it with a bra sometimes. It's still a bit tight but significantly less so.4

I ate a banana instead of a bag of chips with my turkey wrap. A very small NSV, but nonetheless, a victory.9

Registered for Hockeytown 5k and Tough Mudder. Call me crazy!! Excited!!4

I lost weight after going to a bridal shower yesterday5

I thought I over drank my calories last night, but turns out I had saved enough calories that after the extra beer, I was still under calories. Weekends are typically what throw me off my momentum. So this was very encouraging!2

Didn't spend any money on food today! A huge achievement, as I often find myself grabbing a chocolate bar at the supermarket or heading to the drive thru on the way home from work. But not today!5

Said no when my husband asked if I wanted an icecream stick when he was buying one. And said no again when he offered me a bite of his. Sounds silly, but I got no idea how many calories were in it, and I didn't want to spoil my already planned food day on mfp!!!
Ive made that mistake too much in the past, and the calories I guessed were WAY off. so no more!
oh and to top it all off, I didn't care that I didn't have a bite or anything...to be honest I didn't feel like I was missing out on anything.
I do have icecream and whatever I want......but I like to PLAN it hahha.

My dowagers hump on my neck is GONE, all thanks to heavy lifting! I'm so happy I can finally wear my hair up without feeling like my neck looks like a hunch back!7

First day on MFP and had a family function- stayed in my calories range with a few to spare. Asked for tea which helped sway me away from the ice cream I would not even have enjoyed, anyway. (though would have eaten)3

Lost 1.5 inches around my waist in 1 week!6

I ran for 30 minutes yesterday and today someone noticed I've lost weight.5

I was able to take my "goal" jeans off last night without un-buttoning them... Started at a verrrry tight 22 (otherwise known as a size 24 in denial) back in October. My size 18 jeans have sat in a drawer for 15 years, and hopefully will be getting donated soon! about 53 pounds are gone for good! Bring on the next 50!!!3
