Mixing your protien

Hi. I started taking a protein supplement, I mix mine with water. What do you mix yours with?

Water, bit of milk if I've got the cals.0

Yogurt or I throw it in a smoothie. I also put it on my oatmeal too.1

I usually blend it with milk, frozen yogurt cubes, oatmeal, peanut butter, flaxseed and whatever fruit I feel like having at the time.0

I prefer milk or yogurt, but I use water if I'm sucking it down right before a workout or don't have room for more calories0

Milk, or almond milk, depending on my carb goal for the day, and some ice coffee.1

I use 4 oz of 2% milk and 4 oz of water. I want dairy somewhere in my daily plan and that's where I put it. I've had my protein powder with water alone and it's perfectly tolerable.0

Usually soy milk. I just have to sub out one of my snacks when I do.0

Water, coffee (iced), oatmeal, greek yogurt, mash it up with a banana.0

In the morning I'll do 8oz vanilla unsweetened almond milk with 8oz iced coffee, 2tsp maple syrup and sometimes 1T pb2 and just shake it. Post workout I have been doing the almond milk with half a banana in the blender0

I use it as a creamer for my coffee in the morning along with about 5 ounces of almond milk and a couple packets of Splenda.0

For some reason, I simply cannot handle my protein powder in water, milk, almond milk, etc. I can only take it in cold black coffee. I will make extra coffee in the morning and set one cup aside in the fridge for the following morning. I drink my cold coffee mixed with vanilla or chocolate protein powder before my workout. Caffeine helps "wake" my muscles faster and the protein gives me the energy.0

I just started drinking protein shakes. I use unsweetened almond milk and a little PB2 with vanilla protein. Yummy!0
