5 months in & still nothing!!!!!

Started in February to try lose some weight, managed to lose 4lbs at one stage but put strsight back on! I'll admit I'm not great at exercise, try do pilates twice a week. I'm on 11 stone 2 and really need to get back to 10 stone bit it just ain't happening! My daily allowance is 1200 cals....which i find hard to stick too. Any help /tips pls would be super, thanks

    How are you measuring the calories in your food? Do you use a food scale for all solid foods?

    So you're trying to lose about 20Lbs. I'd start by not trying to do that on 1200 calories. Tell MFP you want to lose .5 or at most 1Lb a week. How many calories does it give you?

    Trying is useless when it comes to weight management. You have to do. You have to stick to a calorie deficit for it to work. Maybe 1200 calories is too little food for you. Up your calorie goal to something you CAN stick to, and stick to that, and you will lose weight, as long as you are in a calorie deficit.

    Yes seriously need a kicking! Just got blood results back and my cholesterol is very high...This is a game changer! I've been trying to fit in 1200 cals a day, while not thinking about the foods i'm eating just hitting goal. So upping my cals to 1360 as per MFP and starting again! thanks for replies
