The 54 lb loss journey

I gained a lot of weight in two years. It's been awful- I was heavy when I got married at 216lbs and then before I knew it spiked up to 254 lbs the beginning of this year. Since then I discovered that I have sleep apnea, and a medication were most likely partially responsible- I am 100% to blame for the rest (total buzz kill!). After dropping 14 lbs already since discontinuing medication and having CPAP therapy, I'm looking to push myself harder to continue to eat better, and walk way more than I used to, but work stress is dampening that motivation along with other lovely life factors. My goal is to be down to at least 214 lbs by my friends wedding in October, and eventually sink back down to 190-195 by next year. Don't have money for a gym membership, but walking and a stationary bike have been my allies as of late. Finding motivation with so much stress seems almost impossible- meditation is tough when you live in a home that is like a whirlwind of activity  I am determined to make this happen though, I am so sick of this gut, and other pockets of nasty fat, that I definitely want it gone! Any tips on managing stress?

exercise is a great stress reliever-make time to sweat 30 minutes a day-you will feel and look great in no time..have your husband join you on your walk, have conversations on ways to calm down your household=My fitness pal is a great site-lots of support..
