Calorie overages and excersise

I can't help but feel guilty for going over my daily allowance of 1,200 calories a day, even if my fitness pal says it's ok after I excersise! It just seems strange to actually taken in 1,600 yet still be under my daily allowance of 1,200...

Hey Christine! It does feel pretty cheaty to eat them all back, right? I myself eat about %50 of them back and have always had good success. But in fairness, it typically is easier for guy.

Hey! I'm also a 1200er and I stick with eating the 50% of the exercise calories unless I have a very vigorous day--like run in the morning and ride my bike 30+ miles at night kind of day. If it's one of those days, I just eat until I'm satisfied while being mindful--sometimes that means going over, sometimes that means having an extra beer, sometimes I'm not even hungry after. I just listen to what my body says when I push it hard. If I'm just doing my routine, daily exercise then I will only eat a portion of exercise calories back.0

Many people here say (not jut corey) they only eat back 50% of their exercise calories or less.0

As your goal is 1200 + exercise calories then why feel guilty for meeting your goal?
