Spaghetti squash spaghetti made with chicken sausage, pita pizza, chicken chorizo tacos, bbq chicken pitas, chicken feta spinach burgers...these are our favorites, all of which take less than 30 mins to prepare!

Don't forget everyone's favorite substitute for beef in hamburgers--lean ground beef! ;)

I'm serious with that. Try your favorite old recipes in the recipe builder along with new ones as well--you might be pleasantly surprised. Sometimes the exciting "healthy" substitute is worth it, sometimes the best way to cut your calories in half is to pull out a knife and shrink the serving size.

My favorite sites to get low cal recipes are budgetbytes and emily bites.

Grilling. Sprinkle a low cal spice mix or even a marinade on lean meat then grill. Steamed or grilled vegetables are also easy.

This is D-licious and can be made in a crockpot. Approx 176 calories per serving. A serving size is 1/4th of the entire recipe.

My favorite breakfast: 2 Breakfast Tortillas

Yellow Corn Tortilla (serving size 2 tortilla) = 100 calories
Large Egg (scrambled) = 70 calories
    Fresh Spinach (1 ounce) = 7 calories
Salsa (2 tbsp) = 10 calories (*calories per serving depends on your preferred brand)
    Avocado (44 grams) = 70 calories

Warm up small fry pan w/your preferred non stick agent (butter/olive oil/etc.)
Wilt spinach in pan (20-30 seconds)
Add egg to pan with spinach & scramble together until cooked thoroughly
Warm up tortillas in microwave for 30 seconds
Evenly place salsa on the two tortillas
Evenly place cooked egg & spinach on the two tortillas
Top each tortilla with half of the avocado
    Enjoy!

I have started using ground turkey and chicken instead of beef.
