Cumulative Weight Loss Calculator (using calorie goal)

It's a bit hard to explain what I'm looking for, but I'll try my best.

I'd like a calculator (online, excel spreadsheet, whatever) where I input my calorie goal for the week, and the calculator will tell me how much I'll lose over time if I continue to eat at that goal.

I know MFP does this, but only in 5 week increments and it doesn't adjust for weight loss.

For example, I'd like to remain at 1400 calories the entirety of my weight loss journey. For now (at 220 lbs @ 5' 4"), I'm set to lose 1.5 lbs per week at that calorie goal, but once I'm 190, that's only 1.2 lbs per week and that deficit will continue to become smaller as I continue to lose.

So, I'm looking for something that can account for my weight loss along the way and give me a projected weight loss for 12 months from now or whatever. I can't just multiply 12 (months) by 6 lbs (1.5 x 4 weeks) because I won't be losing 1.5 lbs per week as I continue to lose.

Am I making any sense? Is there a calculator out there that can do this for me?

Thanks!

Possibly. Or it'd be wicked easy to make in an excel document.

But I'm assuming you know that it would only be an estimate and that weight loss isn't linear. I would hate for you to be discouraged because you weren't right where the calculator said you'd be.

This does something similar to what you want.

Have you tried Happy Scale or Trendweight? If you weigh yourself everyday (or how ever often that may be), you just log your weight into the app and it'll show your trend and your projected weight. I use Happy Scale and it gives me a projected weight for 7 days, and also for 30 days. If you set up small goals, it'll project when you'll meet that goal.

    Absolutely!

I'm a big picture kind of gal, so I like to have an overall picture to look at, even though the week-to-week weight loss won't be linear.

Thanks, I'll have to play around with this!

I haven't tried either of those, but I'll check them out for sure.

    Thanks!
