I must confess, I am a scale freak. I have a digital scale that weighs to the nearest .2 of a lb. I weigh myself in the morning before eating and getting dressed and I weigh again at bedtime with no clothes. If it's down at night, then I know it will be down in the morning. I don't, however, allow this to control my success. I remain faithful to my daily calorie input, regardless of what the scale says. I guess it's different for each person. Saturday is the day when I mark my weeks progress.

I weigh every morning and track it using Libra - the app gives me a graph so that even with fluctuations I can still see the general trend as being up (yikes!) or down (yeah!).

I typically weigh myself once a week unless i am struggling. Then I hop on daily for a bit so I see the consequences of my actions and then I fix whatever needs fixing and go back to weekly. You have to realize its not always about the number on the scale. Some of the biggest changes I have seen have been off the scale....inches lost, etc.

I weigh every day first thing in the morning after i shower, like others have said keep your scale clothes can only tell you so much weekly or daily, I've lost 46 lbs from this time last year but that's really 40 over the last 111 days. I've got 40 more to go, hopefully in the next 120 days

I allow myself to step on the scale weigh no more than twice a week. Monday morning is my weigh in day. I'll weigh myself a second time during the rest of the week if I feel I'm becoming lazy with my food intake.

I weigh myself everyday, but then average them out for the week! Days are going to fluctuate because of water and such so as long as you don't mentally get discouraged from the fluctuations you are Gucci

My opinion, unless you are seeing a continual increase in weight, or have changed your daily caloric intake. Once a week is plenty. I see too many people become obsessed with the numbers on the scale.

I weigh every day and watch the fluctuations to help me eat better (keeping a check on sodium and water intake for example). I log my weight every Friday here whether it is higher or lower than the previous reading. It keeps me aware of general progress

I weight myself everyday, considering few factors: 1) if i remember to, 2) only after poo, 3) if i don't feel crap and heavy, 4) if i have a good nights sleep. Only note the weight if it is persistent for a few days. I wouldn't day I am obsessed.

I feel like I would be torched for saying this but I like weighing myself several times a day. I like seeing the stats to everything I do. How much I walk, run, calories consumed, etc. People say I have a problem weighing myself too much but they are the same people that drink, smoke, watch tv daily, constantly on their phones, on the internet and other bad habits as well.

There really is no right answer to this question other than do whatever works for you. If you get depressed, angry, off track, or develop other bad habits from doing so...don't weigh yourself as often.

I weigh myself daily to keep myself accountable, and record my weigh in's every Saturday to track my progress.

I take a bit of a random approach to weighing myself - sometimes I'll do it for a few days in a row, sometimes I'll go for over a week without doing so. Generally I think weekly is a good idea though - especially if you'd get upset by the occasional slight increases you'll probably see if you weigh daily (and are probably related more to your level of hydration etc. that to anything else).

I weigh everyday but I only track it once a week on Tuesdays. If I was bad over the weekend I can adjust on Monday because I know I will weigh the next day. My weight does fluctuate a few pounds during the day, literally.

I weight myself erryday!! Except for when it's TOM because the scale makes no sense and for the week I do not have the rational thought process to think about fluctuations

I did not have a scale for months and only knew i was losing weight by some old clothes that started to fit again! Once I did go out a buy a scale - I weigh myself everyday (despite me knowing I shouldn't) and I become discouraged by the changing numbers.

I weigh myself every morning only because I'm curious. I officially record weight, body measurements and progress pictures on Saturday.

I weigh myself every Saturday morning . I don't like to do evenings because of all the water I drink in a day
