Need advice

So, I already know I am likely to get some backlash, and that's fine. I need advice and I'll take it how I can get it.
I started exercising back in December of 2015. I would guess my weight was up in the 180s, I didn't purchase a scale until April of this year & at that point it said 174. I currently weigh 157.8 as of yesterday morning, my lowest yet. A few months ago, I started really watching my diet, and I exercise at least 5 times a week (strength/2 days cardio/3).
Here is my dilemma. A few months ago I also started taking Hydroxycut caffeine free. I took my last dose today and I have done well with my weight loss (in my opinion) & I feel like I should stop taking it. My brain cannot help but wonder if it's been me causing my changes, or if the Hydroxycut has helped. If it has, is stopping it going to hinder me? Has anyone had any experiences with it?

If hydroxycut worked, myfitnesspal wouldn't exist... neither would overweight people or the billion dollar diet and fitness industry. You are the reason you lost wieght, NOT hydroxycut!
Get rid of the pills, and keep doing what you've been doing. Check out the stickied posts in each section for the best info and advice.4 -

That is a fantastic point. I really felt like, "well I'm the one that's been doing all the hard work it's gotta be me!" But that little niggle in the back of my mind kept making me feel otherwise. Thank you. I'm not planning on buying anymore.2
