First time back in ages

I started this years ago and just couldn't keep up. I'd be there to motivate others-but realized it wasn't helping to give all the great advice if I wasn't following he same regimen. I love being there for people and I know about good health-but I haven't been a good example of that for too long. I'm back and I'm trying this again-this time with the intent to follow my plan whilst keeping my motivational skills tuned in to the community that is MyFitnessPal. I'm there for you guys as I know quite a bit about wholesome foods and such. I grew up in a family that was health conscientious and I've taken away a lot of wisdom in my years-yet still a lot of room to learn more and grow and that's another reason I'm back. To harvest more knowledge whilst spreading it the same way to the community. A key take-away I'd like to express before I close this entry-is that, it's not all about "what" you eat as much as it is about about "how much" of what you eat and when. You can eat a donut everyday for a month and still not fair too badly in the scheme of things because it's not about the donut itself-but rather the portion. Same goes for Pasta, Cakes, Pies, and all the starches-like Glutinous white rice, Potatoes and (as Texas culture would have it), Tacos, Chips and Salsa. All of those foods are completely fine. But how much of it are you eating? Now, Sodas, Candies, even rare occasions-I Just don't believe are good. Try making fresh fruit your candy, and replace Sodas with 100 percent fruit juices-but watch the sugar intake. Be best to invest in a nice juicer (you probably have one), but get into juicing so you know exactly how much sugar content our dealing with. Stay active and give brain strengthening foods a chance to do their job by keeping that brain active. It goes hand in hand. Hazuki out ✌

Same here, I've been a member for ages, just never could stay consistent. I also never tried the community side of this, so maybe this will help me out a bit.
I, as well find my self being a good motivater but has a hard time following my own advice. I tend to over think things to the point it never gets done. This time around I'm making it a point to keep it simple, and see what happens.

Thanks for the advice and welcome back!
