Weight loss due to medication

Has anyone been on a medication that causes weight gain? Then trying to lose all that weight

    Prednisone.....ugh I have a love/hate relationship with that stuff

    Sorry to hear you are battling the same medication struggle marm1962.
    I have been able to cut down my medication dose so much. It would be nice if the weight just fell off as easy as it went on

    I'm on a medication that causes weight gain, hunger, metabolic syndrome. I gained 50 pounds since first going on it. I can't lower the dose. But I am losing weight. I'm on a LCHF diet and I exercise. I try not to eat back exercise calories and I weigh and measure everything and I track everything. Even if I'm a little over I don't lose. It's challenging, but not impossible.

    @darlswife sounds like you are doing well. I am on lite and easy and trying to exercise at least 3 times a week which is still a challenge for me atm.
    I used to love going to the gym but I am sure I will get back there one day. I have my treadmill at home so I will stick to that for now
