Congratulations to me. Today marks 1,825 day streak on MFP! That's 5 years! Lost 45 lbs and have been able to maintain using the app. Have never felt better or so in control of my well being. THANKS MFP

I don't have as long a consecutive streak because vacations and stuff, but I agree that this site changed my life for the better in many ways, not the least of which was my weight loss of one-third my body weight. I've been maintaining successfully for eight years (give or take ten pounds every winter.)19

That's fantastic! Good for you!1

Wow, amazing!! And inspirational! I've been on and off MFP for 5 years and therefore weight goes up and done . I'm at about 120 days streak now and re-achieved my goal weight. I hope to keep this up for good now, as MFP is the only way I seem to be accountable!! However, I will have logging issues on vacations too...so I'll have to give my self a break for resetting to zero .8

Congrats to you !
Comparable story. I have lost 50lbs and kept it off almost a year and a half. Logging streak 1071 days.
Knew absolutely nothing about nutrition, portion control, how many calories I should be consuming, etc.
Best of all learned that not eating does not work for weight loss. Just a balance.
Thanks as well to MFP !12 -
Wow! WTG
MFP has been the best weight management tool I have ever used.
I am 69 and have done all kinds of "diets" before. Lost the weight but when I went off the "diet " the weight crept back on. With more added.
Love this app and don't consider it a "diet". Just a healthy lifestyle.
I have reached maintenance and have logged on for over 500 days. I like the analogy of the checkbook. We would not write a check without $ in our account, so how can you stay healthy by overdrawing our calorie allowance?
MFP is just a visual reminder of our daily food and exercise. I suppose I will need to keep logging forever. Small price to pay for feeling and looking so good for my age.
BTW, I have lost 43 lbs and have kept it off for 14 months. Have lots of energy to play with my 5 grands.21 -
Oh my God that's amazing. I'm on 740 days and chuffed with that, but you're storming ahead. Well done.11

Spectacular! I will be stoked at 200, but plan to hit your milestone one day.4

Wow!! Impressive, I just reached 1,272!!13

WTG! Great work.2

Glad to see that so many of you are motivated. We can do whatever we set our minds to! I have found that by logging in and tracking my food intake, I have been able to not only lose the weight that I had originally intended, but have been able to maintain the weight for the last 5 years. That along with a pretty consistent exercise routine has got me feeling as good as ever. I was always a bit overweight all of my life and utilizing MFP has enable me to recognize and deal with the fit person that was within. Needless to say. it has been a great tool for me.10

Great streaks going on here, next Thursday will be 2190 or 6 years straight for me. The goals are farther apart now but I'm still going19

I'm JUST SHORT OF 2000.20

Awesome streaks everyone! I'm at 1343 days. August will be 4 years with no cheating or resets.
I don't log my food though, but the friendships I've made on here are everything to me and the support helps to keep me going. Plus I like to give support as well.13 -
Fantastic, well done.
I only ever hit one year then go on my fortnights holiday and start again7 -
Just found this and was wondering who are long timers on MFP.
Today I reached 2520.
My wife and I started on this because someone from our gym recommended it.
It's the first one we found that really helped us so thanks MFP.
Have made a lot of cross social site friends from here, Fitbit, Garmin and Facebook, several of us on most.13 -
Today is day 1571 for me.10
-
I'm at day 381 - I was super excited to hit one year, but I'm going out of town in August and I won't be logging on then.4

684 here. Really impressed with those whose numbers are larger. Plan to be one of them3

Day 1136 for me! Down 145 pounds, maintaining since December...+ or - 4 pounds. If I hit the upper limit of the range I'm back to deficit eating.6

Damn. My friend is coming up on 1000 days and I thought that was impressive until I read some of the replies here. Anything over a year is pretty damn motivating to see, honestly. Keep it up, everyone!2

I'm well over 3 years in maintaining, It's been easier than I thought, and I'm still learning new things about it everyday, and I still log too, and sometimes I wonder why.3
