This is something I was thinking about incorporating into my diet to TTC. Was just hoping to get some feed back from you gals, hoping to hear some success stories with this or warnings. Please tell me what you think!
Chaste tree (Vitex Agnus castus) is one of the most important herbs for PCOS because it helps stimulate and normalize the function of the pituitary gland, which controls the release of luteinising hormone (LH). Chaste tree has been successfully trialed in the treatment of PCOS as well as infertility. It enhances progesterone levels, which lengthen the menstrual cycle. Chaste tree has been shown to improve fertility due to its effects on decreasing oestrogen and androgens which, when elevated, are responsible for cycles with no ovulation (anovulation).
Thanks a Bunch

I took Vitex for about a month last year after not having a period at all that year, and it helped greatly. However, you will experience symptoms that come along with your period when you start taking it. I have heightened anxiety levels the week of my period, and the whole time I took Vitex I experienced heightened anxiety, some bloating and other unpleasant period symptoms. Just a note, but kudos for taking the natural route! It will definitely help.0

I haven't taken that but . . .
I started taking Cinnamon supplements. I used to not lose weight as i should according to MFP. Since i started taking it I loose MORE than MFP says i should. It helps regulate your insulin levels and just help your body NOT turn any and all sugar into fat. It has helped ALOT.0 -

Chaste Tree didn't do much for me, but Noni juice evened out my hormones and Alpha Lupoic Acid, Chromium and Milk Thistle help with my Insulin Resistance. The other thing that made a HUGE difference with my Insulin Resistance has been herbal cleanses. If it weren't for the cleanses, I would probably be diabetic by now.
I tried Cinnamon too, but it repeated on me all day, and while I like cinnamon a lot, I don't like it THAT much although if I thought it would help me lose weight faster, I might just be willing to risk it. LOL.
I also tried Saw Palmetto, which didn't help me at all - neither did the prescription meds, in fact those nearly killed me.
I don't mind spending money on supplements, but if I don't see/feel results for myself, I drop it toot sweet.
I hope the Chaste Tree works out. It is a happy day when you find something that works for you!0 -

Just started to drink organic chaste berry...taste really peppery. It must be doing something because I have been getting slight cramps (usually never ever feel cramps) and last month I got AF twice after not getting my cycle for 7 months. Go figure!0

You might want to consider a type of food allergy or intolerance.
If you have dry skin, your hair could be also. If there's any frizz to it, buy a really good conditioner and leave it in. I have a peanut allergy and it most definitely affects my hair -- dries it out excessively along with my skin (visible rash).
For menstruation problems look into Noni juice or Chaste Tree. There are probably other herbal/natural remedies as well. I'm not an expert in this area.
The fish pill suggestion is a good one. I had mucho skin probs before I discovered I was allergic to peanuts and fish pills really helped me. They didn't stop the allergic reaction, but they helped my skin recover *much* faster.0
