    Shopped today - I bought:

lots & lots of frozen veggies
(prefer fresh, which I'll get at the local markets here - can't beat having a supply in the freezer if I feel lazy)

(stocked up on these 5 items, since I've been paying 2X or even 3X as much! )
    eggs
    fat free yogurt
    fat free milk
    fat free sour cream
    fat free cottage cheese

    70% fat free cheddar cheese
    light cream*
3 generic versions of Special K's cereals: almond/strawberry/chocolate
    very low fat ground chicken
low fat hamburg (only beef for the month)
    breakfast turkey sausages
    Italian turkey sausages
tuna - canned - solid white in water
Maruchan ramen noodles (occasional meal for two: one pkg, plus veggies, chicken or tofu & other ingredients to balance flavor)
    wh.wheat bread (1 loaf)
    onion bagels (1 pkg)
    carrots (fresh)
    onion
potatoes (boy, do THESE last way longer than they ever used to!!)
    granny smith apples
    fresh blueberries
    fresh bean sprouts
    sesame oil
    sriracha sauce
    soy sauce
    lemon juice
    fermented black beans
dried ****ake mushrooms (see below, hahaha)
ranch dressing (dried - add small amt to yogurt to use instead of mayo)
fat free, sugar free pudding snacks

*discovered when I visited my daughter that all I need to use is 1 or 2 teaspoons of light cream in my coffee!! And it actually tastes good, instead of me just throwing the whole cup out, as I've been doing, lol.

Didn't get much fresh veggies/fruit at this grocery store, as the little markets near me have the best. I can walk or take the bus & get enough for a day or two. Yum. But I made sure I stocked up on everything else that is really inexpensive there. :D

I use a lot of lemon and/or lime juice in my cooking - I love it. Also like balancing flavor, as in Vietnamese food, which has become a big favorite of mine (not eating out for awhile til I've lost more weight) - sweet, sour, salty, spicy. Makes dishes SO much more flavorful.

Also got a couple of things for my son, but I won't touch those, so it's not important. He's lost LOTS since I started, too - he's eating the same way, plus he just started doing freelance landscaping, which is REALLY hard work. He actually should be eating more, so I got a couple of things I know he likes (and doesn't tempt me, lol).

Hahaha - I tried to edit & add the exact TYPE of mushrooms I bought - I left out one 'i' and MFP thinks I'm swearing - like when I caught my arm in the folding door tonight... didn't know I should have yelled... Shii - TAKE MUSHROOMS!!

    ROTFL!!

I'm going to try again.. that was: dried shiitake mushrooms.
