I started my journey in January, working with a personal trainer. I have lost 29 lbs., one shirt size, and close to two pant sizes. I used to be very active, served in the Military. I started having back pain in 08, found out I had arthritis. I basically gave up because of the pain. I became lazy, and had horrible nutrition. That all changed after suffering a heat stroke last year. I have not been this healthy in some time. My back also feels much better, and I have less pain than before. You can do it, if you want it.

Congrats! I've managed to lose a few, myself. I can't believe the difference in how I feel. Keep up the great work! You are worth it.

Great job! May I ask your age? I'm 47 and have arthritis in my back which causes me pain. I'm finding I really need to have rest days whereas in my younger years I could work out 6 days a week easily. Does your trainer have experience with arthritis sufferers specifically?

I'm 38 years old. I went to physical therapy and tried a TENS unit. Loosing weight and building my lower back strength has been the best thing for my back. I went off feel more than anything. I'm now working out six days a week. There are certain exercises I avoid, as I know they will cause irritation.

I'm just playing it by ear. I don't really have a goal weight. I'm going more on how I feel, how my clothes fit, etc.
