Hello, I was thinking of having a rest day, I feel tired , I have not a bad rest day since Monday, I wanted to train shoulders. I was thinking of changing my routine to this.
Monday legs
Tuesday chest and
Wednesday back and biceps
Thursday off
Friday chest and triceps
Saturday back and biceps
Sunday shoulders.

If you're physically tired, I'd say take the day off. If you're half-heartedly lifting I'm guessing you'll not push yourself as much to complete your normal routine or be risking injury.

I know next to nothing about lifting though!

I rest at least one day a week.

    Depends how you are training.
During my cut I emphasized low weight, high volume and would be in the gym 6 days a week.
This was the best way for me to get shredded and to conserve my muscle mass while on a deficit.

Now I do low rep high weight twice a week and my volume work are all paused reps, twice a week. I eat plenty but still feel exhausted as this type of training is hard on the central nervous system, so the three rest days are needed.

Many serious lifters don't have a set schedule, they lift according to what feels best that day. You don't necessarily need a rest day but should listen to your body. I haven't had a rest day in almost a year. You need to get on a strict regiment if that's what you're looking to do.
Willing to go over your routine if you want.

Rest days are important, as they give your body time to repair your muscles. I have my routine set so I do upper body set 1, lower body set 1, yoga, upper body set 2, lower body set 2, core, and the 7th day is a rest day. I've had some huge strength gains using this method, though I have a feeling it's about to slow down soon.

I have a rest day sometimes on a Saturday and Sunday , I workout all week Carido one day then Tuesday back and shoulders then next day Carido then the following day hips and thighs do in and so on, it really work then working the whole body in one day. They say you should take a week off from working out but I will only rest one or 2 days only.

I rest on Sunday, unless I do some cardio. Other than that, I hit the weights hard Monday through Saturday.
