I was diagnosedwith PCOS 4 years ago and then a year after I was diagnosed with it's pal, hypothyriodism. I am at a loss and no idea what to do. I'm pretty active (my job has me lifting, running, walking etc for 10 hours a day) I eat well and count my calories yet here I am at a not so great weight. Any women out there share this frustration? Advice? Words of wisdom?

I opened my diary to the public and people helped me MORE than any doctor would have ever helped me. No one, absolutely no one was mean.

That's great to know. It sucks when you're doing all you can yet your body says "umm, no"

I have pcos and a couple other things and am not active at all, although I am trying to change that. I have lost 16 pounds in the last couple months just watching my calories and reducing my carb intake to between 50-100g per day. I have tried a bunch of new recipes so that I don't get bored. I started with macros suggested by a dietician and then she said to adjust them until I found something that worked well and kept me satisfied. My diary is open.

my wife has Hypothyroid. Was tough to get under control, she has to take the non-generic med. Keep that monitored by your Dr. and *make sure that is under control*. Dosages often need to be tweaked to get right.
She is 5'1 and like 112 lbs, after 3 kids (via only 2 pregnancies), so her hypo isn't really an impact on weight.
