Hey All
I have decided to up my carb intake because of my triathlon training. I don't want to start eating a bunch of bread (b/c I don't think that's very good for me) so I know broccoli, cauliflower are great sources of complex carbs but I need ideas for some other. I do eat a bunch of beans.
Can't wait to pull from this vast wealth of knowledge.
Thanks

Oats. Beans and veggies are good..but at times the fiber can do a number on your gastro system. I swear by oats when i'm training. Wasa Light breads. Brown rice. Making a brown rice pudding with yogurt is a GREAT meal. Any fruit is great. For something quick I like Luna bars.0

Me too... I've tried and tried but like eggplant, I'd rather get stuck in the eye with a stick than eat them.....0 -

I'll second the sweet potatoes! I don't know why, but of the body builders I know, it's one of the seemingly only FIVE things they eat.0

Sweet potatoes have a low glycemic rating which means they stick with you longer since they don't spike your blood sugar = great carb0

I LOVE them! :happy:0
