Dealing with expectations of instant gratification

Hi, my name is Jennifer, and I've been playing around with this app months ago, but just got serious about it on 7/13 when I also joined SnapFitness gym. My trainer is great, and I feel I'm working hard, and I have noticed improvements in stamina, but I see no drop in weight, and no change in the horrible cellulite on my thighs. I was previously inactive, and am considered medically "morbidly obese." I have been making the gym four days a week, and have just started with basically floor exercises sometimes with weights.

about 4-6 weeks you should see results, at least that's when i did. On top of exercise, make sure you're on point with your nutrition! track your foods religiously! find out your daily calorie maintenance for your body and set a good calorie deficit. Simple calories in calories out. You have to burn more than you consume. if you burn 500 calories in the gym 7 days a week, that's 1 pound less a week. if you're at a 500 calorie a day deficit, that's another 1 pound a week (3500 calories = 1 pound). the more muscle you put on, the more fat you'll burn, I believe the number is 1 pound of muscle will burn an extra 35-50 calories per day, so 10lbs of muscle will burn an additional 350-500 cals daily which could be another pound per week. Nutrition is key!! NUTRITION NUTRITION NUTRITION. If you are like me and LOVE TO EAT and have a BIG APPETITE, look up a list of low calorie high volume foods and learn tons of seasoning and low calorie recipes with those low calorie foods (it will be lots of veggies and seafood) but there's so much you can make that are delicious! you'll satisfy that hunger, be super full, but consume 1/3 or 1/4 the calories you normally used to which will aid in the fat loss also. The extra weight will eventually subside as you can't really spot reduce but you'll see an overall reduction from all parts of your body especially your face which is the only real things that's uncovered on a daily basis. Good luck with your journey! I can't add more friends here where I share my journey and thoughts on things, but feel free to add me on IG (bluebeastfit) which I recently started to log tips and tricks i've developed along the way and useful tools as I continue to work on my own physique as well. Good luck! FOCUS!!0
