Gym Machine vs. MFP, Calories Burned?

Last night I went to the gym and decided to ride a stationary bike. I chose a program with some changes in resistance and tried to stay between 90 and 105 RPM. I did 45 minutes and the bike said I went a little over 10 miles and burned 298 calories. When I went to log it on MFP it gave me 510 calories. I went with 298 since I don't want to overestimate calories burned but that is quite a difference and I wanted to get some opinions. Which do you think is more accurate, machine or MFP?

if the machine had your height, weight, and heart rate info i'd go with the machine.0

I would pick the lower estimate in this case.
Machines can overestimate as well, but that is a pretty significant difference that even if you ate half of the calories burned from the machine reading, you wouldn't be doing too much damage.0 -
The machine did ask for my weight but not height and it did have a heart rate monitor. So, I'll just keep going with the machine readings!0
