Any bad news about MIO?

I started using them and they have been a lifesaver. When I am hot, I can drink water by the gallon. Sitting at work, not so much. Enter MIO. Love em, Especially Sweet Tea and Strawberry Watermelon. It says 0 calories, 0 sodium, 0 sugar, 0 carb. Just a little squirt and I can drink water all day. Something has to be bad about it right? What do you all think?

i keep it on my desk at work and use it all day for my jugs of water. I see no harm in it.0

it's made with sucralose, an artificial sweetener.....I think they taste alright, but you have that never ending debate if whether fake sugars are really good for us....a lot of people argue they increase your chance of gaining weight.....I say do what works! If the benefit of getting you to drink water outweighs the bad, then keep going!0

only bad news is that the peach tea and mango are way too gross for me.
but i LOVE LOVE LOVE the sweet TEA (edit) and berry pomegranate, especially if you MIX them.0 -
What's MIO?0

I looooove the sweet tea MIO!! :happy:0

I alternate between mio and liquid stevia. They also come in different flavors and a little goes a long way. I couldnt drink as much water without either of them0

I'm a fan of them. I mix sweet tea and peach together. Some people don't like the artificial sweeteners, but I've never had a problem with them. I regularly use Truvia in my coffee every morning. And I drink diet soda. It hasn't affected my ability to lose weight at all, as you can see from my ticker below.0

mango peach and strawberry watermelon are my favs!! Yum-O!0

What is this MIO you speak of? Sounds interesting....0

Only reason I haven't tried them is I just can't justify the $3 in an already tight food budget LOL0

That little bottle is -$3.99- at my local CHEAP store. Don't even want to know how much it is at Harris Teeter.0 -
Ok, I just looked them up and it just looks like squash but in fancy wrapping to me I'll stick to my sugar free asda squash!0

Bad news is I can't find it in Canada. Would like to try it! May have to do a trip to Great Falls sometime...0

I love MIO! My favorite is sweet tea. I hate hate the peach tea, it tastes like chlorinated pool water. I like strawberry banana too, and fruit punch! I see nothing wrong with it.0

They may cost a bit, but go on sale pretty frequently and there are some good coupons too. It does go a long way, so it isn't like you are spending $3 on one drink. Even if you use as much as the directions say (which I don't), there are 24 servings for that $3.0

triple post...0

Sorry - double post.0

JJdevore. I love how you got a triple post out of accidentally putting tripple post on your double post...lol. Thanks everyone, I will keep using it. I would like to see some new flavors. For those of you on a tight budget, which includes me, lol, look at it this way. At 24 servings your only paying about 16-17 cents per bottle of water...:) Worth it to me.0

no bad news about it but in my opinion, once you add anything into your water, it is no longer just water because of what ever you add to it. i truly do not think it is the same thing as drinking water.0

I'll stick with natural flavors- such as lemons. There is a product Truelemon (also in lime and orange) which is crystallized lemon which adds NOTHING but flavor and haven't found anyone post a controversy over it yet
I'll avoid the sucralose- no one warned me that excessive consumption MIGHT lead to loose stools- so I'll do you a favor and let you know. Everyone's different so it may NOT have any effect on you, but just so you know.......0 -
I have seen coupons for 1.00 off. It is cheaper than buying a 6 pack of diet cokes a week..I think it will last longer too. My only complaint is WHY The color? Don't need the additional risk of ruining a white shirt from the splash out that I frequently get, plus don't need the artificial coloring..oh well, they do taste good0

Migraines like woah is all I get from MIO.0

Like most people have mentioned so far there is no negative report out there. If you don't have a problem with artificial sweeteners and fake foods go for it. I prefer adding fruits, fresh mint or ginger to my water. To each his own.0

Sucralose is a known diuretic/laxative, so you're not the only one. I have the same problem, and headaches sometimes.0 -

I thought this as well but if I would have bought the store brand pink lemondae packets that would have only got me 10 bottles of water. The MIO last MUCH longer!0
