5'1" 201 and in a 16 that I was wearing at 193.
However it also depends on the store. I still can't get into Target 16s but I was wearing Lane Bryant 20s at 225. So from 225 to 193 I went from a 20 to a 16 but in some stores that might still be an 18.0 -
Hey, I was a size 18/20 at 215lbs and I'm 5ft 3". After losing weight I'm now 173lbs and a size 14/16. I carried a lot of my weight around my waist area.0

This is such an interesting topic!!! And one I've been wondering about. Here's why:
In 2006-7 I gained a lot of weight quickly (college partying) and went from my high school weight of probably 160s (I'm 5'10") to my highest being 230. At 230lbs then, I was wearing a 18-20.
I lost the weight and kept it off from 2009-2012 staying in a 8 or 10 jean. Then life got busy and I slowly crept back up and this time to my all time high of 241 (2016) but was only wearing a 16!
Now I'm in the process of getting into shape and am wearing a 12 at 200lbs. It just proves that it all depends on how you're carrying the weight!
I think because I gained weight from alcohol and really poor (nutrient free eating) the first time, my weight was really poorly distributed so I looked much bigger (size 18-20). This time, I gained due to lack of activity i.e. desk job and long hours (size 16). Hoping to never get there again!1 -
im 5'8 277 lbs atm, wearing size 180

I'm 5'7" and weight 281 lbs. I'm currently wear an18/20...my long-term goal is to get back to my pre-baby weight of 160. I'm an emotional eater and am trying to get that under control....0

I'm 5'6, 223 and a size 16. I started at 251 in Feb when I was an 18/20.0
-
I started out at 228, I am now 220. I am 5'4 or so and I am in a 20. Even after losing 8 lbs, clothes feel NO different Can't wait to be in a smaller size.0

225 and I'm a UK 20. I carry all my weight on my *kitten* and thighs, I can wear UK 8 t shirts!0
-
I'm 5'4" at 225-ish, a curvy hourglass shape and chesty. I'm wearing a 16 in most brands including Maurices, Ava & Viv and LB. Some larges in top of they are stretchy to accommodate my chest. By 215 the 16's will be too loose, hoping to skate by with dresses until the 14s look hot. :-P Lol0

I'm 5'8", 224 lbs. Just had my first baby so I've been shopping for pants lately. Most pants I'm comfortable in an 18, but depending on the brand & style of the jeans, I could be a 14W, 16W, 18W, 16, 18, or 20. The variety is crazy.0

I'M 229 and 5'4" and just started wearing size 18 jeans0

At 5'8 and 284 I'm a size 22.0

Im 15 stone (think thats 210). Im 5'11 and have just bought a UK size 14 pair of jeans, at my heaviest 17'10 I was an UK 18/20. Bought size 16 jeans last month and they already fall down at the hip. Depends on brand, I like higher waist jeans with a,bit of stretch to hold me in lol0

5'6, 227. I'm about a 16/18 tall depending on the brand. I'd like to get down to a 10/12.0

Look at all the beautiful ladies in here! So interesting to see what 200 lbs does with different frames and body types. I am one of those who's weight is pretty evenly distributed but I am busty.
I am 5 feet 4 inches tall, 210 lbs, and wearing a size 14. Size Large or XL for sweaters and dresses.
I was as high as 240 when I started a few years back and was a tight 18/20.
Last year I had gotten down to 190 or so, then had some surgery and have let 20 lbs creep back.
Here I am! Won't go down without a fight.0 -
I'm 5'0" and I was 265 and was wearing 20/22 and 3x for tops. Now I'm at 221 and wear size 16 and 2x on tops. The size on tops haven't change much because I'm very busty.0
-
I started at 258 and a size 22 jeans. I have a big booty and thighs though. I am now down 20 lbs and still in the same size, although they fit so much better now. As I remember from a few ears ago when I lost weight, it took losing 30 lbs before I got to go down in a size of jeans.0

I'm 5'4", 245 and usually an 18/20 in pants. XL or 1X in shirts0
-
I'm 5'5", weigh 218 and am a size 20. I always have to wear a belt with my jeans because in order for them to fit my legs and hips, the waist has to be too big.0
-
When I started, I was 241lbs, 5'5.5", and wore 20s and 22s.0
-
It really all comes down to body shape. I consider myself a pear (albeit busty) and I am a shirt size XL-1X and a jean size 18 at 213 lbs (I am also 5'3). My jeans don't feel the slightest bit loser since I've started losing weight, so it all depends.0
-
I'm 5'5. I started at 260 lbs and wore a 20/22. I'm now 165 and wear a 10 comfortably. My fat was fairly well distributed but now I'm all belly. I would probably be in an 8 if it weren't for this belly.0

Op posted:Just wondering what your jean size is. I'm currently at 229 and a size 24. I feel like a lot of women around the same weight use jeans that are way smaller so it's mostly out of curiosity
I am a 6ft 1" female that currently weighs 307. I wear 22/24 jeans and tops.0 -
5' 7" and 239, and size 18.0
-
I'm 257 and in a loose 22.1
-
I'm 5'0" and 214lbs I'm currently an 18, slowly making my way down to a 16. I have a fairly hourglass shape I think.0
-
I'm 5'0" and 250ish, I'm a size 22. Most of my weight is in my lower half though, I can wear not plus sized shirts. Everybody's different0
-
I weigh about 224 and wear a size 18. I'm 5'8 in height. When I shop at specialty shops for plus size women I tend to be a 16 or so. Really depends on the brand. I can be all over the place.0
-
When I started I was 320 lb (5'4) and was in a tight 24 or 26. Now i'm at 249 lb and am in a size 18, I can squeeze into all my 16's again but too tight to wear, should be fine in another 10-15 lbs. I find it amazing how different we all are, since I hear people that are my weight now in a 26, or someone that is 190 in a 16.0

between 5'8" and 5'9" and 235 pounds. Wear an 18L. I can fit a 16L, but 18's with a curvy cut are a bit more comfy.0
