Not sure where to start

I had abdominal surgery when I was 20weeks pregnant and it cut right through my ab muscles. Then since I was just starting to show, the healing process was painful and took longer than normal. My abs have never been the same. I have absolutely no core strength and have really let myself go. I need to take my body back from my health issues and my post pregnancy. I'd love tips on where to start, and if anyone wants to help keep me accountable and do this together that'd be even better. I don't have much time to join a gym so I'll be focusing a lot on at home workouts.

Have you tried doing planks? That will help you strengthen your core. Pull up some videos on YouTube as I'm sure you'll find other exercises you can do at home.

I had three operations on my stomach area over three years and it ruined my tummy shape. Just walk, your muscles will come back. But it will take time. Be very careful exercising too strenuously, especially taking advice from undertrained personal trainers. I got a hernia doing Pilates far too soon. That just meant another op!

Opinion: 90% of losing weight is eating right and staying within your calories.
A food scale will really help. Focus on healthy foods. Exercise for body tone and to feel good.
I hope you become a success story here. Take before and after pics.
