My job puts me in the 'Active' category but I've been off sick from work for 5 days and have another week to go. Do I adjust my activity level for this time cos I'm not working?

If you're not moving nearly as much, then I would change it.

It probably would be a good idea if you're going from constantly moving to sitting/resting all day. With that being said, I wouldn't stick to a normal deficit while recovering. Maybe half of what you normally would or even go to maintenance. Your body needs the energy to recover/heal efficiently.

Thanks, jjalbertt and vespiquenn. I figured as much, just wanted some confirmation. :)

That's good advice. I kept my deficit going while recovering from minor laparoscopic surgery, and it was a stupid thing to do - got fatigued. If I were doing weight loss over - something I hope not to have to do, since I'm now in maintenance! ;) - I'd go to a very small deficit or even maintenance temporarily when ill or recovering from injury/surgery.
