Treadmill for beginners

Hi everyone! So I'm just starting back at getting exercise back into my daily routine. I have a treadmill which will be easy on my joints for now, since I'm pretty heavy. I was just curious if anyone has lost a good amount of weight by walking on the treadmill?? I plan to add other types of exercise in the future of coarse.

    Not on a treadmill, but I lost 2 stone so far just walking outside and counting calories. I've just started adding workout to my routine now I'm lighter.

    Oh yes I love the outdoors! But it's hot here where I live so treadmill is the best option for me, especially with my 2 kiddos.

    I haven't started an exercise program yet but the treadmill isy favorite

    When I first began losing weight 3 years ago, I started my diet a week before Thanksgiving (yeah, I was that desperate!). It's sometimes cold and dreary here in the Midwest in November, so most of my working out was on the treadmill at work. I don't love it, but I did feel much better getting up and moving after a few weeks. It definitely works for getting you in better shape, along with watching your food intake. I lost 20 lbs that first 3 months.

    I've lost 3lbs since i've started back logging calories and exercising with my treadmill (been almost 2 weeks). I usually do a power walk, I've just recently added light jogging intervals. You can add me if you like, i also have a kiddo, and we can share tips!

    I love the treadmill. Also a big fan of C25k if you're not already a runner.
