3 pounds in 5 days?

Ok I don't want to get too hyped up as I'm thinking this may be trickery. I started Wednesday at 246 pounds wanting to get back down to 160 after walking on my treadmill just 10 minutes a day since wednesday and trying to watch what I've eaten the scale shows 243 pounds today. Is that possible?

It is possible but you should keep in mind that the first 10 lbs is typically water weight. Keep yourself hydrated so you won't gain back water weight and instead you'll be losing fat. Keep it up!

Yes. Likely it's water weight or some reduced amount of food/waste moving through. But totally possible. Not sustainable, sadly lol! But hugely motivating to keep going.

There is usually water shift when you first start, so it looks awesome on the scale. It usually slows after the first two weeks.

Woa!! I dont know but I hope you have reason to celebrate. I sure would. Ive been on here two weeks (dieting prior to coming here), bootcamp class an hr every morning and treadclimber 40min 3 times a day.....nothing. 5 lbs in a month and a half. So

Be happy. Even if its water, its water you probably dont want.

Yep! It's not going to be like that everyday or every week but as long as you are in a calorie deficit you will lose. Some days your weight may even go up but don't get discouraged. Just keep going!

Thanks everyone! It definitely is a huge motivation and something to keep me going as I always wind up quitting within the first week. It will be interesting to see where this goes.
