Hello :)

Hi everyone! I've been using MFP for about a year now but I have never tried out the forums. I'm a 41 yr old mother of 3 and I'm trying to lose some weight. I've been weightlifting for over a year and I love it! I'm getting stronger and that's been motivating even if the scale hasn't been moving as much. I do some cardio too, but I'd much rather deadlift than hit the treadmill lol

    Strength training doesn't burn much calories, you'll have to do cardio(or eat less) if you want to lose weight at a decent pace. Good luck.
