I'm 20 years old and I weigh 155lbs. I wish to weigh 115lbs which is about how much I weighed my senior year of high school in 2014. I noticed some dramatic weight gain right after my second semester of college may2015.

I was going threw a break up at the same time that I was taking final exams and I had failed a class due to poor exam grades. After that I started a bad habit during the summer of smoking a lot of weed and eating more than the average human. That is just how I dealt with the stress.

I have very low self esteem not only because of my weight gain but because of how many people have pointed it out to me and talk to me about it as if I have cancer and need to seek medical attention. My family members mention me being fat at almost every occasion because there *kitten*.

I've done several things to try to lose weight such as going to the gym, doing Focus T25, Julian Michaels 7day shred, playing dance games, going running, and sometimes i lost weight and other times I didn't, I just keep losing focus and motivation because I never see the progress I want to see. I'm not out of shape I'm just fat.

If anyone has any tips on self motivation or even self-esteem boost please feel free to inform me.

The Program is to get into and stay in a calorie deficit. The process works. Stick with the program and trust the process. Giving yourself the munchies is not the program.

Agreed. It works if you follow the plan. If you keep track of every bite. It works. If you meet your goals each day it works. Self-esteem comes from doing the right thing for yourself. Motivation comes from the achievement of creating a healthy habit day after day. Try it for a week. Then try it for another week. And so on. It works.
