Starting over again with Max Workouts

I was injured after I ran my last marathon in November. I've gone from fit to flab in no time. So today I'm starting a 30-fitness challenge to get back in the groove. As part of it, I bought the Max Workouts program from Shin Ohtake. I did my first workout today and I can barely lift my arms. I'm really excited about it though. I only bought the basic program, so no videos, but I don't really think I need them. Has anyone else done his program?
