guilt free mac and cheese- sorta

mock mac and cheese- 8 servings

2 cups garbanzo beans not drained
8 oz whole wheat elbows
2oz romano cheese

cook the pasta al dente
drain

in a blender add
2 cups of beans
2oz romano cheese
salt pepper and garlic powder

toss with the pasta and heat through.
tastes so much like mac and cheese but just less bad.
it's all real foods and it's really satisfying

    What if you don't like beans? I suppose you could leave that out and it would be even lighter?

    the beans are what makes the cheese like sauce after you run it through the blender. you could use canellini beans too which kind of melt onto the pasta when you heat it through.

    it doesnt taste like beans when your done. or at least i never think so, but i like beans
