I'm trying to lose weight but also trying to build to. I'm not quite sure where to start, I want a good over all plan or work out routine, but parts I want to focus on too is back, arms, butt, chest, stomach, and legs. Besides doing cardio and squats I don't even know where to start. Help please.

Well first of realize you aren't going to both lose fat and put on muscle at the same time. On requires a calorie deficit and one requires a calorie surplus. That is not to disuade you from exercising while dieting to lose weight, you absolutely should...but to help you retain what muscle you have and strengthen your cardiovascular fitness and train your muscles...not to build muscle.

First step. Figure out what your BMR and TDEE are. Then set a reasonable deficit for weightloss, like say aim for 1 pound loss every 2 weeks which would be a 250 calorie deficit per day. When you exercise try to learn through experience how much you burn with your routinues and eat that amount back so you are fueling your workouts.

That is about it. The rest about "should I eat this particular food or avoid that particular food" is honestly just a distraction. Eat what makes you happy and allows you to fit in your goal without feeling hungry. If nothing will do that then your goal is probably unreasonable.

    Hello!,
There are a lot of good programs out there that will help you with your fitness needs. In the meantime, you could add some weights to your squats, that will make them more challenging. Back lunges are also very good exercises.
Feel free to send me a friend requests if you like and we can talk more about exercise routine. I love weightlifting and that would be great for your fitness goals.

How much weight do you have to lose? That will make a difference as to whether you should bulk, cut, or recomp. A progressive lifting routine will help. I do stronglifts 5x5, but some others are Ice Cream Fitness, Strong Curves, NROLFW...
