NSV...I can do it!!!!

A couple of months ago I decided I wanted to try to run. I did the first day of the C25K, running 60 seconds then walking 90 seconds for a total of 20 minutes (I think). Anyway, I just couldn't do it. I didn't have the stamina for it. Plus I have bad knees that gave me sooo much trouble afterward.
Well, today I went for a walk at our highschool track and after walking halfway around the first lap, I decided to take off jogging. AND... I didn't stop until I went around and around and around and around!! ONE MILE!!!!! I can't believe it! I was panting and felt like I was going to die, but still felt amazing! I walked around one more lap and took off jogging again for another. I did a total of 2 miles at the track, jogging at least 1 1/2 of those! It feels great that I am getting in better shape!!
I guess another NSV would have to be that there was a whole softball field full of people practicing right across the track from me. I would have NEVER tried to jog in front of people before MFP and this lifestyle changing journey!!
