Hi everyone! I'm B! (I'm 28, 5ft 7in tall and about 280 pounds). I have always battled weight since I was a kid - doing fad diets, diet pills, etc. - which clearly never worked. About 4 years ago I started tracking on MFP and working out daily and lost 40 pounds. I maintained for a while, but then fell and love and got married and somehow forgot about all of my new healthy habits...because who wants to work out when you can snuggle on the couch instead??? I am back where I started and I need motivation. Any tips on getting yourself back in the healthy mindset? Would love to connect with some people that are also working towards a healthier life.

I should also add that I tend to carry my weight pretty evenly, so when I weighed about 200 in college, I wore about a size 11/12 (which I felt comfortable in). I now wear a size 18/20. Women are so uniquely different. So strange how we can way the same and wear completely different size (or vice versa). If I could get back to 200 pounds, I would feel like Gisele.

Hey B! I am right there with you, I was doing well and then entered a relationship with an evil chef haha. I have gained 30LBs since and am the heaviest I have ever been. I decided to kick my butt in gear and am starting up on MFP again. I found an amazing blogger (foodbabe.com) she stresses the importance of clean eating and has completely opened my eyes! Check her out, hopefully you find it as inspiring as I did! I will add you and hopefully we can help motivate each other

What is it with these spouses that can cook?! Makes it so hard! I really think clean eating is the way to go - thanks for sending the blog link! I had been trying to do the low carb diet, but it is so difficult for me to stay on it. Good luck with everything! You can do it!

It's definitely tough but you can do it! Feel free to shoot me a friend request. The more support people we can surround ourselves with the better!
