weightloss advice

Lately I've been skipping breakfast even though I'm hungry out of laziness of not getting out of bed soon enough. Eventually I do eat the rest of the day but I've been counting calories for about a year now. Myfitnesspal has has definitely helped me loose weight. I lost 10 pounds using the calorie counting method. I want to continue to loose more weight and then maintain it but counting calories affects me by making me delay when I eat and putting my mind on calorie counting without letting me naturally eat without frying my mind with calorie counting. Is there a way to still use the myfitnesspal app to track the food I eat without the calorie counting part? Is this possible at all?

You could enter everything in My Foods (without sharing with the database) as zero calories (or 1 calorie if it won't accept zero calories) and track items that way.
It might be easier to just use a paper notebook.2 -
It appears that calories are a required field in the dairy settings. Perhaps you could just log and ignore the calories. Is there another macro you do care about that you can focus on? maybe switch to writing down on paper your food log?1

That's not possible, at least as far as using MFP. You can either continue to log your meals - calories included or not log them at all. It's your decision.0

A notebook food log is probably what you should try. Perhaps set goals for yourself in terms of # of servings of protein/veggie/complex carb/etc. to have each day?0

Idk maybe I can ignore it or something cuz it doesn't accept 1 or zero in the calorie counts or just deal with the calorie counting issue. I've tried journaling in the past but its harder for me to stick to compared to the app I use to log in. I've never focused too much on macros, I've always just set a calorie goal and made sure I ate at,under or didn't go over my calorie goal0

Hmmm, thought I had commented on this. If it shows up twice forgive me please. I read a study a few years ago on breakfast and weight loss. They gave two groups the same calorie allowance for lunch and dinner and one group was given additional calories for breakfast. The two groups lost weight at the same rate. It was thought that part of the reason was the increase in metabolism experienced when one eats. Anyway it made me more likely to eat breakfast.1
