How often should you take body measurements?

I know this probably varies by person but how much weight loss reflects inches lost on average?

I would probably do once a month. Right now I'm just measuring my weight though0

I weigh weekly and measure monthly1

I think it varies too much to get reliable numbers off. Some also lose more off their hips than their bust and waist or any other way around.
It has a lot to do with your genes and probably a bit to do with your fat/muscle distribution.
I personally try to do measurements around the first of every month if I'm able or can remember.
I'm curious about how my body is changing, but I see no use (for me) in measuring more often due to how inconsistent it can be with how tightly I measure.0 -
I'd also say at least monthly. Sometimes inches come off when weight hasn't moved.0

When I was losing, I took measurements every Sunday. Now I take them once a month.0

I do them whenever I hit a goal weight (edit: my goal weights are 15-20 pounds apart) or whenever I feel like my clothes are fitting me differently. I don't have a set date to measure; it's just whenever I feel like it might be appropriate.0

Probably once a month. Week to week is hard to see any real difference because you can be a little bloated or whatnot from a salty meal or just from having an off day.0

I only take them once a month, usually around the first of the month. This month I waited until the 3rd to log it because when the 1st rolled around, I knew that I was retaining water. Sure enough on the 3rd I showed a solid loss of inches.0
