Salmon/Omega-3

Okay, I really do not like salmon. I find it tasteless BUT I need to adjust my diet to include more (lots more) omega-3 and salmon appears to be the best option as it contains high amounts.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to make it more palatable? My husband thought mixing it with tuna might work as a lower-calorie option (I don't want lots of sauces and dressings) as hopefully the tuna would disguise the salmon.
Or has anyone any other ideas for upping omega-3?
Thanks, everyone.

Don't eat something you don't like ..I agree with supplement idea or try other oily fish instead
That said how have you cooked it because it tastes completely different different ways
Grilled, fried or oven baked it can be kind of oily...don't overcook
Poached ..about 3/4 way up in water with lemon wedge, pepper corn bay leaf for 20 minutes it is light and fluffy
I make a Thai style fish cake which I love ..I adapted this but it's a decent enough base recipe http://www.skinnytaste.com/naked-salmon-burgers-with-sriracha-mayo/
TBH I make them into doorstep sandwiches..thick white bread,Mayo, lettuce, cucumber, avocado, English mustard ...0 -
If you don't like it don't eat it. That's just silly to try and eat it for that. I have always hated fish. It has always grossed me out. I put ground flax in my smoothies and I take a vegan dha supplement and eat walnuts, avocados ect.0

I take fish oil supplements for the omega - I'm not crazy about fish generally. But I do like fresh (not canned) salmon if I grill it with heavy seasoning (Mrs. Dash, black pepper and lemon). I also sometimes mix it up in a salad, which helps mask the taste.0

I agree with the others. If you don't like it don't eat it. However, I made some salmon patties today for lunch that were so easy and so good. My kids loved them too. It was just salmon, bread crumbs, light mayo, one egg, green onion, and some seasonings. I just seared them on both sides using cooking spray. So good!0

If you're really wanting to eat it, have you tried laying it on foil, slathering with a yummy BBQ sauce, wrapping it up, and baking it? Suer easy, and very tasty.1

Walnuts are high in omega 3's really good on salads or ice cream or as a snack.
Do you like herring? It's also high in omega 3's.
I like the pickled kind in sour cream eaten with saltines.0 -
Chia seeds are also high in omega 3!0

Have you tried grilled cedar plank salmon? The plank adds some nice, smoky flavor. But the Starkist tuna in the foil packets has Omega 3 if you prefer tuna.0

There are plenty of other sources of omega 3's.0

I like salmon salad better than tuna salad. I have also baked the frozen fillets with lemon pepper seasoning.0

Herring is awesome on salad! Sardines too.0 -
We buy eggs from our grocery store that have omega 3. The same with peanut butter and mayonnaise. You can even find it added to yogurt and bread.
Also, if you buy grass fed beef occasionally, that will have more omega 3 than regular beef.0
