Hey all!
My name is Kayla, I'm a 24 year old nurse & health coach wanting to get back into MFP and the awesome community here! I aim for a mostly clean eating lifestyle and try to do some form of exercise daily.
I lead an extremely busy life, and love learning from people that are also always on the go, working crazy hours and shifts, and trying to balance life!

Hey Kayla, and Mr. Firefighter guy!
I'm in a similar boat. Started up my own company a year and a half ago, and it's growing pretty good. Keeping very busy, and in that "growing pains" time, where I need to expand, and too worried about it to do so.
With that being said, I was kicking rear end here on the App, about 5 months ago, and loving every second of it. Then did something to my ankle, and had to take a breather from the workout for a few days. Few days turned into a week, a week turned into a few weeks, now 150ish days later, I'm ready to get off my fat butt and get back into the swing of things.
I'm typically a early morning Gym guy, as I have a 5 yr old and a wife at home. Wife takes care of the 5yr old in the mornings going to school, and I handle him in the evenings. SO typically, no evening workouts, unless they're after 8pm.
Diet consisted of (and will again starting this evening) Sunday, and Wednesday or Thursday doing meal prep. Kept pretty good watch on my caloric intake last time, and that's where I made the most improvment. Target at 1610 calories per day, for 2lb loss per week.
Really didn't mean to make this a long post.... Sorry..
Long story short, I feel ya'll! Would love to connect too!0
