Losing weight with Hosimoto's Disease

Hello!
I was recently diagnosed with Hoshimoto's disease, and have started taking Levothyroxin, and going completely gluten free.
I would love to meet, and talk to anyone who deals with hypothyroidism issues, and find it difficult to lose weight. Any advice would be appreciated! Thank you!
