Depends on the flavor. I'm currently into McConnells.

Ben & Jerry's. Häagen-Dazs has a cheap texture. They keep making fancy pantsy flavors, trying to make themselves seem "upscale," but it's just bad quality. I don't understand why, since they're both made by the same company.

    Ben & Jerry's. But I'm biased.

Ben & Jerry's has all those awesome flavors (OMG Phish Food....), but if I just want a 'classic' I'll get the Haagen Dazs. Sometimes I just want Butter Pecan

Ben and Jerry's, since they have the non-dairy ice creams. Taste-wise, I prefer Haagen Daz, but I can't eat them.

I bought my own freezer and make my own now! Of these I prefer Ben & Jerry's

Anymore I usually get Halo Top, actually, but of those two, definitely Ben & Jerry's.

I would say they are each good in different ways. I love the smooth simplicity of some of the Häagen-Dazs flavours.. whereas Ben & Jerry's is more packed with fun nuggets. I live in Canada so no Talenti here to compare

I can't have either. I'm allergic to eggs. That said, I know Ben and Jerry's recently came out with some vegan flavors. The cookies and peanut butter is very, very good. Since it's expensive, I get it once in a great while.

I was disappointed in both of the last flavors I tried from both companies, but I've had more Ben and Jerrys pints

I've got some Blue Bell Cookie Two Step and Kroger chocolate cookie crumble in the freezer right now. Cookie Two Step is amazing and cookie crumble sounds good.

Another 'depends on the flavor', though TBH I haven't had either in a long time. Haagen Dazs does get mad points from me for their dulce de leche. A scoop of that with sliced banana is one of my favorite desserts.

Used to be a diehard Häagen-Dazs fan until President's Choice started making premium varieties. Currently I'm hooked on the Loads of Cherries variety.

I prefer Häagen daz (cheese cake) but will go for Ben and Jerrys (cookie dough) if it's on offer.

Haagen Dazs! Their caramel gelato is to die for, I have yet to find anything that matches it, it's just as good as something I'd get from a local creamery! Besides, Shoprite usually marks it down to $1.88 per pint whereas B&Js never really drops below $2.88. Also, Haagen Dazs has 3.5 servings a pint instead of 4, making me feel slightly better when I do end up eating all the servings instead of only one like the glutton I am >~>

I wish they'd release more flavors in stores already! HEB is within driving distance, a Baskin Robbins is not.

Before my blood sugar went blammo, I liked Ben & Jerry's. But even sans 'beetus, I'm not willing to give up my entire dinner for 1/2 cup of ice cream.... I guess I should try one of those low cal halo top things if I can find it somewhere around here.

Ben & Jerry's!!!! Today I found Halo Top ice cream and to be honest it's amazing! I'd say it even rivals ben & jerry's! Kinda pricey but the chocolate mocha that I bought is 280 cals for..the..whole..pint!!! So worth every penny. (I hated artic zero, made me wanna rip out my tongue and run over it with my car :s )

Ben & Jerry's between the two, unless Haagen-Dazs chocolate sorbet is available...That stuff's great. But Talenti gelato wins hands down. The fancy-pants grocery store I live next to came out with their own line of ice cream, and it's crazy wonderful, too. My freezer currently has 8 pints and 2 quarts of ice cream/gelato in it.
